An original English adaptation

This page turns a player-shared seasonal planning chart into original StardewPriceDB English guide content. The cards and wording are newly designed for this site; dates, bundle items, crop timing, and event windows are checked against Stardew Valley 1.6.15 before publication. The cards are a quick reference, not a replacement for the full tables.

Year 1 Spring

Spring route

Spring is about creating options: save for Strawberry Seeds, open the Community Center and Mines, and build a small resource buffer instead of exhausting the whole farm on Day 1.

Core goals

  • Save as much as possible for Strawberry Seeds before Spring 13.
  • Open the Community Center route, the Mines, and fishing.
  • Stock Wood, Copper Ore, and Coal for early crafting and upgrades.

Key dates

Day 1Plant the starter Parsnips, clear only a small patch, and craft a Chest.
Days 2-4Meet Willy for the Bamboo Pole and fish for early cash. Buy a few Potato, Cauliflower, and Green Bean seeds.
Day 5+The Mines open. On a sunny day, enter Pelican Town from the Bus Stop to start the Community Center route.
Day 13Attend the Egg Festival from 09:00-14:00, buy Strawberry Seeds, and plant them after returning home.
Days 15-18Gather Salmonberries around the valley for energy and spare cash.
Day 24The Flower Dance is mostly social; attend if you want the festival or shop items.
Days 25-28Finish the Spring Crops Bundle and start saving Copper Bars, Coal, and Summer field space.

Recommended crops and projects

  • Parsnip: Cheap and safe; keep five Gold-quality Parsnips if you are completing the quality bundle.
  • Potato: A strong early cash crop with a chance at extra potatoes.
  • Cauliflower: Good single-harvest value; keep one for the Spring Crops Bundle.
  • Green Bean: Regrows after the first harvest; a small planting is enough for most new farms.
  • Strawberry: The Spring profit spike; buy seeds at the Egg Festival and plant immediately afterward.

Daily rhythm

06:00-09:00Water, check the TV, and organize the backpack.
09:00-16:00Fish, mine, or forage according to weather, luck, and energy.
16:00-20:00Ship goods, buy seeds, and finish errands or quests.
20:00-01:00Smelt ore, craft storage, and set up the next day.
Keep in storage: One Parsnip, Green Bean, Cauliflower, and Potato for the Spring Crops Bundle, plus Copper Ore and Coal for the first machines.
Player note: Rain is a useful tool-upgrade day. The first Backpack upgrade is expensive, but 12 slots become a real bottleneck once fishing and mining overlap.

Year 1 Summer

Summer route

Summer converts Spring progress into scale. Replant on Day 1, push Farming and Mining toward Quality Sprinklers, and turn storms into battery production.

Core goals

  • Plant the first Summer field on Day 1, with Blueberries as the main repeat-harvest crop.
  • Push Farming and Mining toward Quality Sprinklers, tool upgrades, and the second Backpack upgrade.
  • Stock Iron, Gold, Refined Quartz, Battery Packs, and Oak Resin.

Key dates

Day 1Replant immediately. Prioritize Blueberries and add a smaller mix of Melons, Hops, and Corn.
Day 3The earthquake opens the Spa and Railroad; the Spa becomes a useful energy reset for mine runs.
Day 11Attend the Luau at the Beach from 09:00-14:00 and bring a high-quality food item if possible.
Days 12-14Check the Beach for seasonal forage such as shells, Coral, and Sea Urchins.
Mid-monthReach the Iron and Gold sections of the Mines and start making Quality Sprinklers.
ThunderstormsCraft Lightning Rods so storms become Battery Packs instead of wasted weather.
Day 28The Dance of the Moonlight Jellies happens at night; the daytime schedule is still available.

Recommended crops and projects

  • Blueberry: The Summer workhorse; it regrows and rewards planting as early as possible on Day 1.
  • Melon: High single-harvest value; keep one, and keep high-quality Melons for the bundle.
  • Hops: Excellent for Pale Ale later, but do not let a large Hops field crowd out easier crops in Year 1.
  • Hot Pepper: Regrows, helps with bundles and cooking, and is easy to maintain.
  • Corn: Bridges Summer and Fall, so it is useful when you need a low-maintenance transition crop.

Daily rhythm

06:00-09:00Water, harvest, watch TV, and clear the backpack.
09:00-16:00Mine, fish, or forage while crops and machines run.
16:00-20:00Shop, turn in quests, and ship the day's output.
20:00-01:00Smelt bars, craft sprinklers, and lay out tomorrow's field work.
Keep in storage: One Tomato, Hot Pepper, Blueberry, and Melon for the Summer Crops Bundle, plus Refined Quartz and Battery Packs for sprinklers and machines.
Player note: The Spa is not a reason to ignore crops or sleep schedules, but it is one of the best ways to turn a Summer mine run into a full-energy day.

Year 1 Fall

Fall route

Fall is the first season where a prepared farm can feel stable. Plant repeat-harvest crops early, build processing capacity, and save Winter resources before the last day.

Day 2The Special Orders board becomes available; check it each week for useful rewards.
Days 8-11Gather Blackberries around the valley for energy and extra sales.
Day 16Attend the Stardew Valley Fair from 09:00-15:00 and prepare a strong nine-item display.
Mid-monthAdd more Quality Sprinklers, Kegs, and Preserves Jars to stabilize income.
Before Day 24Finish the Fall Crops and Quality Crops Bundles where possible; keep high-quality Pumpkin.
Day 27Spirit's Eve runs from 22:00-23:50; the maze contains a Golden Pumpkin.

  • Pumpkin: High single-harvest value and a chance to become a Giant Crop; keep one and protect quality crops.
  • Grape: Regrows and supports both the Fall Crops Bundle and later Wine plans.
  • Yam: A quick crop that helps with the bundle and cooking.
  • Eggplant: Regrows, is easy to maintain, and is another Fall Crops Bundle item.

Daily rhythm

06:00-09:00Water, harvest, watch TV, and organize the backpack.
09:00-16:00Mine, chop Wood, forage, and visit the town.
16:00-20:00Shop, turn in quests, ship goods, and give gifts.
20:00-01:00Smelt, load machines, clear the farm, and plan the next day.
Keep in storage: One Corn, Eggplant, Pumpkin, and Yam for the Fall Crops Bundle, plus strong display items for the Stardew Valley Fair.
Player note: Do not let a Fall field hide the Winter deadline. The last week is for storage, bars, tools, and a clean Spring 1 start—not emergency planting.

Year 1 Winter

Winter route

Winter removes ordinary outdoor crops, which makes it the best planning season. Fish, mine, forage, upgrade tools, and finish the farm systems that make Spring faster.

  • Upgrade tools, push the Mines, and build the Greenhouse and machine foundation.
  • Stock Wood, Hardwood, Stone, Coal, Iron, Gold, and Fiber for Spring field work.

Key dates

Days 1-7Gather Winter Forage and plant Winter Seeds whenever you can make a useful loop.
Day 8Attend the Ice Festival in Cindersap Forest from 09:00-14:00.
Days 15-17Visit the Night Market at the Beach from 17:00-02:00 for shops, the submarine, and night fishing.
Mid-monthUpgrade the Watering Can, Hoe, Pickaxe, and Axe while crop pressure is low.
Day 25Attend the Feast of the Winter Star in town from 09:00-14:00 and bring the gift you need.
Days 26-28Clear fields, sort machines and Chests, and prepare Spring seeds, fertilizer, and sprinklers.

Recommended crops and projects

  • Winter Seeds: The most reliable Winter planting loop; forage the ingredients and keep replanting when useful.
  • Crystal Fruit: A valuable forage item that can be sold or saved for energy and later plans.
  • Crocus: A convenient Winter gift and one of the easiest items to gather early.
  • Snow Yam: Useful for the Winter Foraging Bundle, cooking, and keeping one safe in storage.
  • Winter Root: A Winter Seed ingredient and a Winter Foraging Bundle item.

Daily rhythm

06:00-09:00Collect machines, watch TV, organize the backpack, and process Winter Seeds.
09:00-16:00Mine, fish, forage, and complete town errands.
16:00-20:00Sell materials, shop, turn in quests, and give gifts.
20:00-01:00Smelt, craft, sort storage, and plan Spring 1.
Keep in storage: One Winter Root, Snow Yam, Crystal Fruit, and Crocus for the Winter Foraging Bundle, plus Spring seeds and fertilizer.
Player note: Winter is not a dead season. It is the cleanest time to upgrade tools and machines because there is no normal outdoor crop schedule competing for every morning.

How to use the route without turning the game into homework

Protect the season deadlines

Plant repeat-harvest crops early, keep bundle items safe, and treat festivals as fixed calendar anchors.

Trade spare hours for progress

Fishing, mining, forage, and machine work fill the gaps that crops cannot. Choose one useful loop instead of wandering.

Leave a runway for the next season

The last days of a season are for seed money, bars, storage, sprinklers, and a clean first morning—not panic planting.
